I joined a swap on Ravelry (my uber awesome knitting community), and I was partnered with the dear Denise, who's packaged I got yesterday, and it's so special. I feel like she really did choose things with me in mind, almost like she checked out my blog and stuff...heh heh. You can see what I got her if you check out her blog!
The package came in a cute penguin box- I didn't picture that, as I totally spaced, but when I opened it, here is what was inside:
Everything all lovingly wrapped seperate!
Here is the "loot-o-rama"- wow, I feel spoiled. Being my first swap, I didn't know what to expect. I think I was an okay partner- but I think next time I can do better.
She sent me a Hoops and Yo Yo Card that scared the bejessus outta me and Stells, and then had me laughing hysterically, as I just had a fight with myself over not drinking Nog this weekend due to trying to keep slim...There were delicious chocolates, some hot chocolate I can't wait to try, as I love peppermint and chocolate, some Bath and Body treats (yay for antibacterial hand foam!!) some Seasonally Appropriate post-it notes, a few cookie cutter that are perfect and sturdy, a gorgeous stitch marker from Shelia Rovelstad (who we all must thank for this swap), some yarn from her- Wullenstudio- which is the PERFECT COLOR, a BLACK sheep ornament (I don't know if Denise knows exactly how appropriate that is) and one of the best things, she knit me a tiny sweater. We all know my love of tiny tiny things. Sorry the next two pictures aren't great, but I had to show you!
Yay for Strawberry Fields! And being one of my favorite Songs...Shelia names all of her yarns after songs, which makes them that much more special.
Too Frakkin' cute!
Aren't I lucky? Whoo Hoo! Thank you SOOOOO much Miss Dee!
XOXO
yay I am delighted you like it all!
